Do I have to cut the WALLIES out myself?

No. WALLIES are ready to use, right from the package.  WALLIES come already die-cut in each unique shape.

Are WALLIES pre-pasted?

Yes, just wet the back of the WALLIES with a wet sponge for a few seconds and then stick them to the wall. It is very simple.

Borders and murals must be wet, either by running them under the faucet or dipping in water.

What are the best surfaces to apply WALLIES ?

WALLIES can be applied to most any hard, smooth surface, except slick plastic surfaces. 

For Textured Walls:  WALLIES stick-ups adhere easily to hard, smooth surfaces like tile and glass. With textured walls, WALLIES adhere best when the texture is not too rough and the surface has been painted. Raw wood surfaces or porous, textured wallpaper usually poses a problem as the porous surface will absorb the wet glue and result in a weak bond. In this case you may want to reinforce the bond with a little spray adhesive.

How do I remove WALLIES?

Just re-wet the WALLIES to remove them. We suggest peeling off as much as possible first. Then use a spray bottle to wet the remaining paper on the wall. Let it sit for a minute and use a putty knife, if necessary, to gently scrape off the rest.

Can WALLIES withstand a steamy bathroom?

Yes. WALLIES are vinyl-coated so they can be washed and they can withstand the moisture in a bathroom. We don’t recommend using WALLIES in a shower as the constant wetness will cause them to strip off.

Can I apply WALLIES to existing wallpaper?

Yes.

Can I apply WALLIES to a surface that has just been painted?

Read the paint can to find the suggested times for waiting before applying a second coat of paint.  These wait time suggestions should be followed for applying WALLIES. They may also provide an amount of time for curing the paint before doing anything else to its surface. Paint should definitely be completely dry before WALLIES application, but the best guideline is to follow manufacturer instructions.

Are WALLIES safe for scrapbooking?

Yes, WALLIES are perfect for scrapbooking!  However, the WALLIES cutouts are slightly acidic.  Scrapbookers have gotten around this problem by spraying the WALLIES with products like Archival Mist® or by placing archival quality papers between the WALLIES and their treasured photos.

Can WALLIES be used outdoors?

If you place WALLIES on outdoor furniture, we recommend that you polyurethane over the WALLIES to seal them. Extremes in temperature and humidity are not good for WALLIES. Direct exposure to UV rays may cause WALLIES to fade.
